Daniel H. Longmire

I was born in Baton Rouge, LA., moved to New Jersey at age 5, and was raised thru high school in New Jersey. Shooting high school sports got me interested in pursuing a photo career. After a year in photo school in Rhode Island, I was accepted by Brooks Institute and moved to California in 1975. A year later I enrolled at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, and graduated in 1981.

I worked as an assistant with Dick James, a well known car photographer for a year, and then left to start shooting jobs specializing in food photography, product, and jewelry. I have continued to work in commercial advertising shooting product, architecture, jewelry, and fashion work. I've worked for the Comedy Central network for many years, shooting film production work, promotions, and TV programs like The Ben Stein Show, The Sweet Spot, The Man Show, Beat the Geeks, and BattleBots.

I currently live in Pasadena, CA. I have three wonderful children, Danny, Jackie and David. My passion is golf, but I enjoy many sports, including bowling, basketball, and skeet shooting.
